To be entirely truthful, I personally have never taken the ACT.

But I have done a chunk of research to help you out. Also, I do know that many of the study tips in our SAT section will translate over and be very useful in the ACT.

SAT Prep for Middle SchoolersSo you’re in middle school and you’ve started to hear about this thing called the SAT.  You know you have to take it eventually, but when do you start?  Any study tips you should know? Should you be doing anything now?

Well, truth is, you really don’t need to do anything.  Not yet.

Yeah, it might be helpful to get a head start, but honestly, you don’t really have to worry too much about it yet.  So relax!

SAT Essay Writing TipsAh, the essay.  Everyone’s favorite part of the SAT, right?

Probably not.

In fact, I’d say it’s probably everyone’s least favorite part of the SAT.  I don’t know for sure, but I’d imagine that it’s the least favorite part of the test for the graders, too.

ADHD and Test TakingPeople with ADHD often have a difficult time with exams.  Whether it’s because of distractions, pressure or carelessness, ADHD and test taking just don’t go well together.

Trust me, I know.  I’ve never been diagnosed with ADHD, but I will say that I’m easily distracted.  And that my leg is bouncing up and down as I write this.
