I realized yesterday evening that I’d not sent you an email this week.
There is a reason! Well … excuse.
See, I have somewhat of an obsessive personality, I think.
I’ll start something, and, if I like it, I go absolute full ham on it.
Here’s an example:
Over the summer, one of my coworkers convinced me to give World of Warcraft a try. I knew it was an iconic game so it wasn’t too hard of a sell, to be honest.
Anyway, I picked it up and decided pretty quickly that I liked it.
Then I researched.
I poked around forums and on reddit, trying to find the best information I could about this game so I could do well at it.
I reached level cap really, really quickly for a new player.
And then I started in on the “end-game grind” and playing with other groups of people and trying harder content.
And then school started and I canceled my sub and uninstalled (cause I know myself better than that!).
Point is, I got really really into it.
The past few days, I’ve been doing the same thing and going nuts working on two projects at the same time. One is related to starting up a D&D campaign for about 15-20 students at the school where I teach (crazy, right?!) and the other is related to figuring out what I’m going to make for you.
(I still need to finish pulling together that giveaway, too … yeesh!)
It’s rather overwhelming having all of the things going on at once.
But all the really important stuff?
It’s getting done. I’m not worried, either, or stressed.
Stay tuned – I’ll tell you in tomorrow’s email.
P.S. By the way – if you’ve found these emails remotely helpful, or if you know someone who would like them or benefit from them, I’d love it if you could pass the word about StudyPenguin.com along! Thanks 🙂
