At the beginning of last week, I had a ton of stuff to do all around the house, from cutting the grass to gathering fallen branches to clearing out the shed that the storm didn’t destroy to taking down plywood from the windows … plus actually finishing moving in and doing things inside like hanging pictures, replacing a shower head, unpacking boxes … you get the idea
It was a lot.
Kinda overwhelming too. You wake up and look in the other room and it’s a mess of boxes and bags that need to be unpacked. You look outside and there’s tree poop everywhere.
But come yesterday the house is clean inside and the outside will be finished today.
I think I got more done this past week than most other weeks of my life.
And all because of a lil to-do list.
If you don’t already have one, make one. Use something like Google Keep or OneNote if you want to sync from phone to computer. Or just use the notepad app on your phone. Or just use a Post-It every day and fold it up and stick it in your pocket.
But use something.
I’m not exaggerating: a to-do list can change your life.
While you’re adding stuff to it, add subscribing to the Study Penguin Newsletter: http://studypenguin.com/newsletter.
You’ll get all sorts of helpful info – I might even go into some advanced to-do list tools in an upcoming issue, too.
In any case, get doing!
